I've had a Trangia for years and I like it very much.  It is stable, functions well in wind and reliable with no moving parts or valves.

Having read the reviews I think it would be a good buy and at that price is a reasonable investment.

I agree. I think same Trangia set is easily £50.

I was lucky and picked up a 27-4 UL for £25 on another forum. It may not be lightweight but is built to last :)

I've used one before and despite not having quite the same build quality as a trangia they are handy enough.

I've been buying up new kit for the past while on a budget so thats a new bag, tent, rucsac and stove sorted :)

nothing fancy but will be enough to get me out again and I can replace as I go.
