Title: Wanted - Gear Donations for Fledging DofE Group

Hi Everyone...

On the scrounge again...

I'm trying to start up DofE in our school (Orangefield High School) with a massive budget of zero....!!

Loads of interest from the kids, loads of ideas and ambitions however no money available form school budget to afford group gear and a reluctance from parents to spend money on gear that may never be used again by their child...

So, I'm looking for anyone with anything that may be useful and who doesn't want anything more than a very grateful thank you in return for their donation...

We are after Tents & Spares, Sleeping Bags, Karrimats, Rucsacs, Cookers, Plates/Bowls/Cups, Maps, Compasses, Waterproofs, Fleeces, Torches, Hats & Gloves...

Basically if you can think of a use for it, then I'm sure we could use it...

As it is a school you can always borrow gear from the Outdoor Centres.. I could maybe wangle something for you from Ardnabannon..
