Title: NIBA...... An open letter!
Post by: bill2rhino on June 29, 2010
A big thank you must be said on behalf of the scouts and leaders of the 112th North Belfast Scout Troop ( Whitewell Tab Church) for the excellent lessons and invaluable course they laid on over the past scouting year!
The guys from the NIBA have passsed on a passion of the outdoors to the kids and taught them valuable outdoor skill sets in, axe handling, knife skills, shelter building, water purification, fire lighting, plant identification. They did this through fun activities, and lectures and finished off with a bushcraft over nighter under the stars at Lorne house. They showed absolute integrity at all times and have gained friends  from within the group.
They did all this motivated by their enthusiasm to empart what knowledge they have gleened over the years to kids. And at cost to themselves in time, that they could have had to themselves.
We look forward to having their continued support and fellowship and in turn offer the scout troops support to their cause!
Thanks again
BILL
PS If you have a young person interested in Scouting, why not contact your local Scout Troop for information.!!
