Fantastic!  Man you wrecked my head though with the description.  Was looking at the first pitch and thinking there is no way that if from Commedagh.  Couple of tidy camps there.

Saturday night was very busy night for the niwild campers lol, great video of the clouds. Did you see a small bonfire on the summit of Donard, or was I seeing things?

Hey NI Pupper, was the water pipe still flowing when you were there.  I had a friend who was up there a few weeks ago and he said he didn't notice it.  I plan to be availing of it this weekend so I'd be keen to know.

oh i, water of life is flowing straight out the pipe. i 'forgot' (i.e 'forgot' to look at the map) that it's only a few meters from the wall and missed it on the accent and had to go looking for it after dropping my bag at the tower. guided in by the sound of running water nicely. i was running low as well, would of had to bounce first thing if i didn't find it. drank a litre right there and then upon finding it. it was great.

Water of life you say? ;D

Quote
Uisce beatha is the name for whiskey in Irish. The equivalent in Scottish Gaelic is rendered uisge-beatha. ... The phrase uisce beatha, literally "water of life", was the name given by Irish monks of the early Middle Ages to distilled alcohol.

That's good to know, will be having a run at the wall all being well.....and there aren't too many other taps up that high.  Thanks for the quick reply.

;D  A run at the wall was a figure of speech, there won't be any running involved if I can help it.
