Had a wee look at them stain look the dogs balls and alot cheaper than the Rab ridge raider.

Do you think you could fit in your bag and boots?

These are the sizes:
Size: 230 x 95 x 60cm
Pack Size: 35 x 10 x 15cm
Weight: 1300g / 1.3KG

At 2.5m long I'n sure it'll take a 35ltr pack and boots stain.

looks good for the money. i'm not a big fan of hooped bivys tho, It may just be me but I like the idea of being able to sit up in a tent even if its just to get un/dressed!

The worst thing about a bivvy bag is definitely trying to get in and out of it

looks good for the money. i'm not a big fan of hooped bivys tho, It may just be me but I like the idea of being able to sit up in a tent even if its just to get un/dressed!

I agree but I was thinking about my summer kit (if we ever get one). My Plan is to use this along with a synthetic bag (snugpak softie) for summit camps. I found that even with a tent a down bag can feel a bit like babysitting. So For the summer I just want something i can jump into clothes and all. Don't get me wrong I love my pipedream but I just want something a bit more robust for the damp summer to come.

I'd agree although my synth bag is as heavy as the Alpkit PD.

ahh but this bivvi is a kg lighter than my tent ;D
