Kilbroney snow walk

Met up with friends in the Carraig Cafe just outside Newry for a cup of Tea/Coffee and toast. We decided to go to Kilbroney Forest with the intention of climbing Slieve Martin. When we got to the edge of the forest, it was a blizzard. We went down another track to the lower car park. Great day's walk and craic. Here are some photos.

Creme Eggs...lovely..

Instead of going to SDlieve Martin, we turned back into the woods.

Black & White...being artistic. It was like a scene from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) movie.

The high car park was closed.

We met Mr Snowman.

A great days walk.
