Title: Walk the Glens Walking Festival

Event Details

The weekend starts on Friday 4th June at 7.00pm with a Clachan walk around Cushendun/Knocknacarry with Bill McAfee followed by a talk by Bill in Knocknacarry Hall with refreshments afterwards. This walk covers approx two miles. On Saturday 5th June there will be a 11 mile challenging walk for the experienced mountain walkers and a four mile walk for less experienced walkers. On Sunday 6th June there will be there will be a 9 mile challenge walk for the experienced walkers and a 4 mile walk for those who prefer less of a challenge.



All the walks have been designed locally and will be led by local people. All the guides are experienced and knowledgeable about the area, transport will be provided to the various starting points. Refreshments are provide after all walks.



So if you fancy an active weekend out and about in the Glens of Antrim enjoying the beautiful scenery June 4th-6th could provide the perfect opportunity to do just that.
