Become a Friend of the Belfast Hills. Take part in a unique experience by viewing the famous Cave Hill cavern to celebrate the launch of the Friends of the Belfast Hills. For one day a temporary staircase will be erected beside the first cave, giving you the opportunity to see inside and admire stunning views across Belfast. Come along and recreate the scene of 1854 described by J Doyle in which “an adventurous youth or gleesome maiden may be seen climbing to visit the caves.”
