I'm ashamed to say that not only am I roaringly drunk but invariably I'll be too hungover to head for the Mournes tomorrow now. I'm a naughty, naughty boy  ::)  ::)

Hope you have a great hike!

Nite hike done and dusted.
Conditions were perfect...........didn't get as far as Donard but did get a chance to test out my trekmate bivvi, I can confirm the "breathable" claim.

Found a great litttle spot to rig the tarp crack open the hipflask and chill.

Camped in donard wood across form the Ice house was great craic (the whisky helped).
Woke up refreshed and after a MOD burger and beans boil in the bag brekfast was ready the take on the world.
The weather was so nice I could have stayed for an other day............but the locks would changed by the time I got home
MG1 has already set the agenda for the next adventure.

The plan to climb the actual river( is ths bouldering)?? form donard park.

Bouldering's just climbing for folks that are scared of heights ;)

That sounds like the perfect way to spend an evening. I'm jealous since I was at home with a cheap bottle of red and shite movie..
