Oh no!  :( Really disappointed for you Lenny (& Dave), that's gutting so close to the event. 

As bad as it feels now, I'm sure you've made the right decision though.  If you feel bad when you're away somewhere, the only thing you want to do is get home.

aaaarrrgghhh, sorry to hear you can't go, doubt anyone else can suddenly get 2 weeks off to take your place  :(  look on the bright side dave, you might be able to tag a long with different groups along the way, especially those 2 swedish blondes you were telling me about, what were names again, oh yes, ivor and olaf  8)

Sh...............t! Ahh man thats such a kick in the teeth for you guys, especially after all the prep work youse have done for it.

If theres a chance you could do anymore damage to your back though it really is best to bite the bullet and say im out, as hard as it is mate.

Brilliant idea. I like my haggis aged so don't worry about picking one up at the start and carrying it across with you :P ;)

Hi Guys,

I was chatting with Dave today via text / email and he asked me to upload any pictures he sends me onto this forum thread so here goes. Other pics will follow as and when I receive them.

He said the hostel was fine last night and that the guys he had met so far are great. He also said it was "baltic" this morning & that he dropped his sisters camera on the ferry and it's banjo'd :( so it looks like the iphone is his only camera now. Fingers crossed he took the extra charger over with him !!
