change of start time for the race, now 11:30am

Quote
This is just to inform you that following last night’s race committee meeting we have made a decision to start the GR8 DUNDRUM RUN earlier than originally billed. The race will now start at 11.30 am and not 1pm. This is to accommodate the huge increase in numbers this year and ensure the safety of all those taking part. Having done a straw poll of a number of entrants all those who were asked favoured an earlier start time. We are informing all those who’ve entered the race by e-mail and the new start time will be publicised in the media in the coming days and weeks.

Carol.

well i didn't make the run today  :( something went twang in my neck while doing some situps last night (and exercise is supposed to be good for you  >:( ) so i did some marshalling down at the beach instead and snapped some pics

the sign says it all

this was the leader at this point, Brendan Teer of East Down AC

it was VERY windy, this lads t shirt was near blown off him! i think the runners got a good sandblasting down the beach

I'm not a hippy or anything..  but this really does work! you just have do remember to do it everyday (i try but never do) .. the breath is pretty powerful during this practice.. so dont do it at night or you'll not sleep :o
Also dont do it until you cant breath. come back to the 'above prayer reach' (above your head) take a few breaths till you come till you own breath, breathing normal)then bend again,
