Fair play to you - I think it just takes a bit of familiarity - next time (if you can manage to squeeze through) you might adventure a bit further. Doing it on your own as the only adult is a bit daunting. The cave on Cove is not so claustrophobic which you would find if you continue up the path to the top of Percy Bysshe and look directly across to Cove. Bit more of a scramble up but at the Cave mouth quite a view of the Annalong Valley.

not yesterday, we spent 6 hrs walking in the fog going via Binnian, had to use the compass a few times, especially after food breaks when we forgot which way we came

definitely do Cove next time though
