Post your tarp configurations!
« on: September 29, 2011 »

Had an overnight last weekend in Annalong and was the first time I took the tarp without the hammock so was itching to try out a ground setup. It was supposed to go like the diagram below but didnt quite work out that way! It as a bit thrown together but i was surprised at how much room there was for something that packs down to less than half the space of any tent. With the hobo stove in front of the opening it was really very warm until it went out.
I used a dd 3x3 so probably not the best to use as its so big = more room to heat up. If anyone has any old pictures or wants to give this a go over the weekend go here and post them up

for any configuration you could possibly dream up. Making them in reality and with different sized tarps can be a whole lot trickier though so good luck! Looking forward to seeing how inventive you all are :p
