Hello all i,ve just registered , My name is Alan i live in Dromara and am usually in the Mournes on a Sunday mostly climbing or walking, Looks like a good site with plenty of interest so will  hopefully meet a few of you on the hills.

Welcome Alan, I'm from your end of the woods as well...very handy being 30 minutes drive from the hills.

Thanks for the welcome, I did serve my time learning the ropes on hen mountain but am now at Spellack, Upper Cove and Pigeon, Some good routes on these crags ! Are there any routes that you can reccommend chris ?

There is a multi pithch (6 pitches) on lamagan, every climber should do it. I think its called FM but if I can remember it takes in a few pitches from different routes. Its not hard climbing but there's no where else in the mournes you'll get 4hours plus straight climbing with that sort of exposure.
