1.  Is it legitimate for that price?   :P
2.  Shame it isn't the two man version.

considering there is a 2nd hand one on ebay with bidding at £155 this seems like a bargain, you know i'm just trying to convince myself  :)

(new ones on ebay at £190)

I've just bought 3

Judging by the number of "3 available" listings on ebay - id say a lot of people are thinking the same thing I am

Well close enough

Ill flog two for 220 each and keep the third

Is this a yearly deal kinda thing?  When the new season laser comps come in, F&T get them and sell them at a discounted price?

Its just their daily loss leader
They have something different every day

Its usually shitty karrimor stuff - but they once sold an amazing merrell coat for 100 quid off RRP

Torn between buying the one man, or waiting out for a two man.

How does it compare with the G20 Superlite that a few of you recommended in the previous thread, better/worse?

So so wish i could justify buying this; its a fabulous piece of gear at an unbelievable price...and there was me thinking I'd got a real deal on Field and Trek a couple of months back buying the Zephyros 1 for 72 quid...only used it once since getting it

Sigh....

Hey Pudd, to compare to the Superlite is kinda difficult; they are two different styles of tent, for different numbers of occupants.  The Superlite is a really robust piece of kit that will swallow up 2 people and their gear easily and you could use it in the snow at a push.  The Laser Comp is an unbelievably light one man (two man if you are very friendly  ;)) that will service you most of the year round but isn't gonna be great if its snowing.

That said its a brilliant tent (cannot stress how brilliant) and at this price it'd be sinful not to buy it...either that or your skint like me  ;D

Oh crumbs, I've just went and done it.

I think I will blame Typo-on's comment "you'd be crazy not too" and that was me.

I'm in so much trouble now ;D  May be handy that my birthday is next month though 8)

By the way it is £132 to the door, there's free delivery also.
