Homebrewing

It's not out doorsy but if you drink enough of it it's sure to send you wild :D
I've just about finished my first attempt at brewing up a batch of red wine, had a few glasses of it last night and I have to say it turned out really good. I've just to get it bottled up now and get another brew on straight away because I've promised so many people a bottle I don't want to leave myself short.
I was wondering is there any other brewers lurking among the NI-WILD members and if not why ;) ;) ;)

New member here and home-brewer :)
The new homebrew kits are fantastic both wine and beer. I love the House of Beaverdale Merlot although it's a while since I made any.

Hey! You can join your outdoorsy activities and homebrewing - get into hedgerow brewing. I've got rosehip, damson, and rhubarb wine on the go, as well as sloe, damson and rowanberry gin. #readyintimeforchristmas

Nothing that adventurous for me yet I'd probably pick the wrong stuff and poison half my family  ;D

Like 1mjordan above, I'm also a new member here, and a home-brewer.  Far from an expert but I enjoy trying.  Just finished a batch of IPA, although was quite dark and didn't taste as hoppy as I'd like.  Next time I'll add some additional hops.

Recently became interested in foraging and I thought I'd try my hand at some sloe gin and blackberry wine.  Have about 2 months to wait before it will be ready but hopefully they work out well.

My girlfriend got me a book, Booze for Free by Andy Hamilton, some interesting recipes and great for foragers.
