Adding Permanent Volume Markings to Pots

This is a guide to permanently adding volume markings to pots so you can easily fill with the right amounts.

I'm not sure if this will work on all metal pots or just in steel, if anyone knows or has any experience post below.

Nice idea there and using just things that have no real danger to the body if there is any residue. I had considered just using a dremel type etcher or such but I imagine this method makes cleaner marks and doesn't risk removing too much steel.
