Alpkit Tarp

It's news to me but apparently Alpkit do a tarp called the Rig 7



The stats aren't bad at 280cm x 240cm weighing in at 514g.

Who wants to be the first to buy!

The wife would kill me. An Alpkit self inflating mat appeared at the door yesterday and I got some dirty looks....

I think the Alpkit Rig tarps have been on their site for ages, although from what I can recall they were out of stock for quite some time.  Not sure why I never paid them much attention, as it's a bit smaller and lighter than the DD and looks like it has a good selection of attachment points.  Mind you, I'm not the biggest fan of tarps to date... its bivvy bag or tent for me ;)

I prefer a tent as well. We bivvied on Ben crom one night with salvaged tarps. It was brutal night it rained all night it was horrible. As always it was made easier with a bottle of tonic. ;D

I prefer a tent as well. We bivvied on Ben crom one night with salvaged tarps. It was brutal night it rained all night it was horrible. As always it was made easier with a bottle of tonic. ;D
