Title: Windy Gap & Ott Mountain
Post by: Kirth on January 31, 2010
I headed up the Mournes today for a bit of a drive around and to get my bearings, from reading books and my map recently.  I also did two small walks, starting at Leitrim Lodge and headed up towards Windy Gap. The fog was so dense we headed of course and got a bit lost, I followed the river and got back on track and ended up at the Castles.

I then went over the hill and parked at Ott Mountain Car park and walked up to the Mourne Wall, nice wee walk and git very windy and snowy at the wall.

Easy days walking but nice to get out in the hills all the same.
