I know this is a long shot but I can't believe how difficult it has been trying to locate a second hand Centreboard.
I'm looking for a centreboard from a sailing dinghy (Topper, Laser GP14, Optimist etc etc), preferably Fibreglass, but a wooden one would do just fine too.
It's for my Winter Project (http://www.ni-wild.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2481.0) as I am re-designing a Canadian Kayak for sailing and want to add an internal well for a Centreboard. Once I have a board I will design a well to suit which is why I don't mind what boat it comes from. I'm looking one approx 3ft long, or more, from an old abandoned boat.
I'm not worried about the condition either, as I don't mind putting a bit of work into it to restore it or re-glass it if necessary.
I got a Fibreglass mast at the weekend from an old Windsurfing board and that's me at least one step closer.
Unfortunately my project cannot proceed until I have this board so hopefully somebody can help.
For those that are wondering about sailing a Canadian here's a website all about it just to prove I haven't gone totally insane :P http://www.ocsg.org.uk/
Thanks
