SAS Survival Handbook
« on: April 19, 2010 »

This book as you all know has been about for years. But it is now available as an iPhone App priced at £3.99 and there is a free lite version

I downloaded the full version, and its pretty good. Loads of videos and images. Plus it has been updated too.

i had it on my iphone (as I had an Itunes voucher so I bought it  (feeling slightly ashamed)).

We used it - to try to work out - what was an appropriate signal to give to the search and rescue helicopter above us - but we could find a signal for - "its not us you're looking for" (even tho it was us they were looking for !)

Its a good job.
