Well i had a good trawl round the shops the today, as i was in the centre of town so visited Tiso, Millets (40% sale ended yesterday  >:( ) Blacks, TKmaxx and Cotswolds (many thanks to Simon & James at Cotswolds for their excellent customer service), I reckon the Sealskinz all season glove i mentioned earlier is the nearest i'll get to what i want, not quite nimble enough fingers for changing camera settings but should be ok for taking pics, and they tick all my other boxes, leather palms, waterproof, not too warm (i'll pick up a cheap set of ski gloves on ebay for warmth), just have to wait for the sales then i'll take santa on a shopping spree  ;D

p.s. why are all gloves black !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seen a few white pairs in that outdoors shop in Banbridge.  Mind you it was a while ago.....um actually I think I'm getting confused with Circus Circus.

tk max has a load of ski gloves in at the moment, some of them have pertex lining and at under 20 quid seems like a good buy.

Good find, was down at TK Maxx yesterday and they have a great selection of gloves, i took a look at them and then went upto Sports Direct to check out theres at their ongoing sale, they have gore-tex gloves reduced to £37 from £78, ahhhh, decisions, i felt like a donkey stuck between two bales of hay, gonna head back down today and will definitely, without a doubt, maybe get a pair, lol.

ski gloves are best picked up on ebay, so many people go skiing once and splash out on all the gear   :) (me included  :( )

You're right Liam, ebays been brilliant for other purchases, but i'd rather get a decent pair sooner that later (my cheapo gloves were soaked through cycling down to Sports Direct yesterday) and it's good to actually try them on for that perfect fit.
