I keep meaning to get a Crusader cup, but just haven't got round to it yet.  Figured they would be handy for doing a quick brew over an open fire or on the Honey Stove without worrying about getting it sooted up.  If theres one thing I hate its having to clean sooty pots and pans!

I find that the alu Trangia ones clean really easily with a wire scouring pad. Even after being on the fire.

If using a hexi tablet, when you make a cuppa tea use the tea bag to clean the soot. really dose the trick or rub the pot on the grass.

Yup, quick wipe down, store it in it's own wee zip lock/sainstburys bag and then into the dish washer when I get home (is that bad for cheapy alluminium stuff?...gets it clean but seems to make strange marks on the surface of the cup)
