Saturday I hope, although my passport went through the washing machine so I'm not entirely sure whether or not the nasty ryanair people will let me on the plane, in which case I have to go to the embassy and pay £150 for an emergency passport and try and book a flight for Tuesday, so fingers crossed.

Its alright, sure Ryanair are renowned for their customer service and generosity, I'm sure they will be very helpful especially considering its Christmas ::) ;)

Hopefully you can make it out sometime over Christmas week for a welcome back jaunt in the Mournes then!

When it comes to dealing with Ryanair it's best to assume that they'll charge you for something extra. Always. They're pretty scummy.

Yes... I'm bricking it. As long as I can make it onto the flight I'll be grand, would be easier to sort out any difficulties once I make it to Dublin.

Ye if they don't let me on the flight I don't think I'll be able to get a refund and I'll still have to book another flight. This is all assuming that they don't perform some sort of blanket cancellation on all flights because of the snow under their "exceptional circumstances" excuse (Snow in winter?? By jove, I did not see that one coming), in which case they get everyones money and their customers get screwed over.
