Title: BCU 1 2 & 3 Star Awards whats the best approach?
Post by: young1gun on May 13, 2009
Hi I just wanted to know if there are any experienced conoeirs on here who have done the BCU 1 2 & 3 Star Awards.  Could you tell us a bit about them and the best places to do the courses, who would you recommend?

I am interested in doing these courses as I want to get more confidence on the water.

You can do BCU Star 1 in Belfast, at Shaw’s Bridge.  You have to book before hand for the course £80 for six lessons and hopefully your 1st star  ;D, the guys name is John and his number is 07749011283

If your not fussed on the course you can also just turn up every Saturday for open sessions

-   Kids       9:00 – 11:00am
-   Family   2:00 - 4:00pm
-   Adults   4:30 – 6:30pm

Adults £15.00
Kids £7.50

Very good for a spare of the moment thing
