My name is Kit and I'm based in Dublin, I'm looking to get some Mournes walks done and some wild and not so wild camping done. I grew up on the North West coast of Scotland so sleeping out is a bit of a norm for me. So any pointers or tag along walks will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Kit

Hi Kit, welcome to the forum. I'm not getting out much these days but hope to start again in a few months.

Welcome Kit. Just getting into the nice time of year for a bit of outdoors action. Suppose the Mournes are a bit of a trek for you.

Hi,
I can get up there in about two hours, depending what time I leave and what route I take. Don't think that's too bad as it's over an hour and a half down to Glenmalure.
