Whats the crack........are we still going for the bare essentials.

I don't have a problem with bivving but if anyone wants to have a good day in the hills the next day you would need to make sure thats what you want, nothing worse than waking up like a bear with a sore head  :'(

Sat night would suit me the best, that way I can get down after work and back before if it comes down to it!

I agree Friday could be a bit of a push for me and instead of a panic and reaching our start point late on, what about meeting late morn / early afternoon and head up ?

Whats everyones thoughts ?

I'm good for Sat/Sun too. We could meet lunchtimeish at Meelmore Lodge and blow up Bernagh, then back down to Hares Gap to camp.

But I have to agree with backpack and it gives me an excuse to get the wind round my new tent. But keeping within the spirit of the light weight challange I will be shaviin off as much weight as possible.

Is anyone else game for a bit off a dander on the sunday.

I was thinking we could walk the Brady pad getting up Commedagh and headin back to the hares gap the long way.

Any takers.
