Carrick Little Carpark / Head Road Accommodation

Is there accommodation of some sort up the lane from Carrick Little car park or around the Head Road? There's a big brown sign there now advertising something but I can't remember for the life of me what.

It's been a while since I've been there but to my best recollection there was a sign advertising conferencing facilities and accomodation. That's at the house up the lane on the left. The one one with loads of diggers and the high pitched barking Doberman.

I think it's something "house/manor" but i do know you can rent out the wee cottage just before the house with the diggers , not much use to you I guess


As for the yappy Doberman I have not seen or heard it the last couple of times I have went past

I met the yappy Doberman two weeks ago whilst heading to Cove Cave.  I'm assuming its still just a pup given its relatively small size and high pitched bark... a fully grown Doberman might make the trip from Carrick Little a bit more interesting in future :o

That sounds like it but I think its a bitch that's why it's not of such a big stature

The accomodation being advertised is not up the lane from Carrick Little car park but further on up the road in the direction of Newcastle at Mill Road. GR 356 224 There's a 'phone number on the sign.
