Title: Toe joint fusion

Hi. I'm due to have on of the joints on my big toe fused in September   :(and was wondering if anyone else has had this done. How did it affect their mountain walking and how long was it before they could get back to reasonable mountain walking. Hoping to get back walking for next years snow in the  :)
