Is this with the Scouts or separately. Also, is it family friendly?

Sorry guys have been up to my eyes with meetings!!!! Its with the 112th Scout troop and I would like it to bring them back to basics ie foraging (dieing art) and catching, preparing and eating an animal. I will however due to protocol require any instructors to be checked but I am willing to get this done through scouting channels. If you want to contact me please do or speak to billy backpacker and he will give you my mobile.  I will say that if anyone on the forum has qualifications for the instruction of outdoor activities I would love to hear from you.

catching and preparing an animal eh? good luck with that one.

they hardly would have let us loose on that one when i was in the scouts 27 years ago,in this age of being wrapped up in cotton wool id be astounded to see that one get past the pc correctness parents .

my older brother runs the scout troop up in gilnahirk.

Hey Pablo!!
Have had a chat with the people who count and they are all behind the idea of getting Scouts scouting again!! My aim is to get the kids out of the comfort of their hall and back to basics.
I will keep you guys up to date and want to thank the boys from the NIBA for the keeness they have shown in wanting to impart their knowledge and free time to educate the kids..
