Hope there's room in there for about 8 if it lashes :)

Will be doing well to squeeze two into it, but for the right price I could make room ;)

this threads getting busy, nearly forgot to answer Tim's earlier question

Quote
Does anybody know what its like going straight from the summit of Meelmore to the carpark?

you can go down in a straight line to the car park, it'll be boggy, but if you'll be in the car in 30mins you won't mind wet feet/knees

i've also gone down the spellack direction but there's a steep bit behind spellack (i.e turn left before you go over the cliff) , very doable though and less boggy, but still wet in places (and that was in the summer  ;) )

Excellent, thanks Liam. I'm hoping it'll be frozen like last Sunday so it won't be too boggy, although I never mind getting wet and muddy on the way back to the car anyway.

Ahhh..the mysterious Mount Meelmore!  This is definitely one that I can't wait to trample underfoot.  I bagged a winter bargain just the other day on Backpacking Light so will be trying it out...A Golite Jam.  Add moi to the list!

I know the Christmas season is now over, but would anyone mind if I shared my bottle of mulled wine at camp?  ;D

You might regret saying that... I think there'll be a queue for the Mulled Wine no matter what season it is!!!

Poor Chuck volunteered to do the Mulled Wine at the Christmas camp and he was busier than a bar man in the M-Club on New years Eve  :P

Have you ever actually slept in a tent Dowser?!
I actually bought three tents in quick succession before I realised that I was bivvyer at heart  ???

You're always lying out in the grass with your gear scattered around you any time I've been out :P :D
Maybe we should have changed the Photo Competition topic to "Summit Camp"... You could have sought inspiration from Tracey Emin and got a good snap of my sleeping arrangements.  ;D

I have to admit I can be a bit untidy around camp but I promise, I do "Leave no Trace" when I move on  ;)
