Would you put me down for a possible +1 as my wife might like to go, depending on weather (any other wives / other half's going?)

Put me down as confirmed and I will bring the roast parsnip and carrots. How many are we likely to be feeding?

Hi Guys,

Count me in this year. My time spent in the Mournes has generally been a very solitary thing for me but it would be nice to get more involved and meet more like minded people.
I am not much of a chef but I can bring some mashed potatoes, as much as I can prepare at home and carry.

I will still be bringing christmas crackers, but I also will try and bring in some mince pies and cream, since I drive now.

Can't wait and see you all there.

Can someone tell me please, how far it is from the car park to the campsite and whether there are any steep hills or climbs? I am a senior citizen!

I'd also like to know if there are two trees at the location from which I could hang a hammock? I also have the tent but haven't made my mind up which to use, as yet!

Thanks for your help.

Hi Tim.
It's quite an easy dander up to Annalong wood about 30 mins will have you there at a nice easy pace with no steep hills or climbs. As for trees well it's hammock heaven trees everywhere.
Get your name down its always a great night.

I will bring:

Christmas Pudding with Custard

Need to know, eventually how many to provide for, in the meantime could you let me have a wild guess?

Probably be around  20-30 people but keep a wee eye on the list of attendees as it gets closer to blast off for final numbers.

Ho Ho Ho Christmas Campers,

Just thought I'd stick a wee post up to let you know why I've been so quiet leading up to this years Christmas Shindig,  when normally I'm up to my roasted chestnuts in the arrangements.

Well, this year I have a wee one on the way and with babies being babies you just never know when they are going to arrive.  All I know is that she will be here a few days before, or a few days after, the 5th and I’m guessing even Santa couldn’t get me a Pass Out for an overnighter to the Christmas Camp.

Best I can do is try and pop into camp for an hour or two for a festive drink and a taste of Rumblebums turkey... ooh err missus!!!

I'll keep in touch and let you all know if I'm on my way, in case you need me to pick up some forgotten Cranberry Sauce or such likes.

Merry Christmas One and All
