(According to this thread) There seems to be the interest for some folks to come on a try caving trip in Fermanagh.

I'm free the weekend 29th - 30th Jan and am prepared to take up to 8 folks underground...

My suggestion is to go Saturday, try a few 'beginner' caves then if folks are interested we could stay over in our caving hut if it's not being used by anyone else...

I can prob gather enough oversuits and helmets, folks would need to wear their own underclothes and Wellies/boots and gloves (more info later)...

Bring your own food/drink/sleeping bag etc...

Share cars, prob best to meet in a central place in Enniskillen then we can convoy the rest of the way...
£10 donation per person to the cave rescue team...

If you're interested, stick yer name down here...

First Come, First Served...

Darren...

If you could get out the Carn/Seagoe Road Roundabout, I could swing off the Motorway and pick you up if no-one else is available...

Ok...

So far I make it the following people....

Darren
Neil B
MG1
KenDog

Anyone else...?

Those that have expressed an interest, post (or PM me if you are shy, roughly what size (height & waist) you are  so I can get oversuits to fit)

The plan so far, weather dependent is to enter the Marble Arch System via the Pool Chamber and follow the tourist trail to Journeys End, then a waist deep wade into the best bits of the cave which you don't get to see on the tour...

That will prob take 4-5 hours allowing for photo stops etc, and depending on how people feel we could maybe squeeze in another cave on Saturday as well...

Are people interested in staying over...?

If so, we can do a nice sporty wet cave on the Sunday before home...

I've attached a map of the MAC system...

If you've been on the tour, you start it at the M32 point on the boat, heading south to the boulder collapse at Grand Gallery, then turning back North you travel back North to Skreen Hill...

Journeys end is where the 'flintstone' characters are beside the pool, that's where we leave the trail and get into the interesting stuff...

The current 4 people is good as I can take you on my own, any more and I may have to look at getting someone on the team to help me out, so if you are thinking of going, let me know sooner rather than later...
