our route(only we went the other way round and followed the ridge to the devils ladder and the on to Carrauntoohil)

Me, Dowser and mikeD took this bab boy the Cruach Mhór Ridge on our way to Carrauntoohil. I had to find a proper photo of it as while we were on it there was  bloody hail stones and zero Viz.

Well done guys by the way. We'll never look at the Mournes in the same way.

That's an impressive looking ridge!  I have to say, I'm sure I'm not alone in under estimating how good some of the Irish mountains are, because looking at the photos they seem to be up there with the best that Scotland and Wales have to offer!

They are. Not as mass as scotland but overwhelming
