Title: Kirkistown Track Day
Post by: RedLeader on October 05, 2009
I was lucky enough to get invited to Kirkistown Race Track by a friend who was there for a track day. Basically it's where you pay £95 to horse the nuts out of your own motor driving the circuit. I had a few laps as a passenger and it was great fun, albeit a bit hairy at 70mph in 2nd gear with the tyres squealing and the distinct smell of burning clutch. I'd love to try it myself but probably couldn't afford to replace all the bits that would drop off.

These are the people that organise the track days if you fancy a pop.
