left no trace! (even cleaned up some other peoples cans etc and took them down too!! >:() a great night in the hills, hard to go home as always!

I've camped in that structure myself a couple of times. Awesome pics, cheers for sharing.
Now next time - bivvying   ::) Nothing better than both going to sleep and waking up staring at the sky.

Great pics, loving the little Coleman, I'm thinking of getting it in the beige/dark grey colour, is it the two or three man you've got? Breakfast pics have got me hungry now....

have bivvied in the mournes years ago but dont have any of my own gear for it, im working on that though! Hope to get some summits in!

its the 2 man, 27 quid in argos a bargain! Did fine and not much heavier than some 1 man tents but will need to see how it stands up to some heavy rain etc!

That's a spot I've yet to pitch, but looks great!  Like Liam I'm drooling over the breakfast... can't beat a Trangia fry up!

That's a spot I've yet to pitch, but looks great!  Like Liam I'm drooling over the breakfast... can't beat a Trangia fry up!
seems to be a well used spot, judging by the litter  >:( would be space for a few if bivvying, also other spaces around for tents etc, the wee stone structure gives good shelter from the wind which picked up about 130 am or so, and was still blowing when we left!

Good job doing a bit of clearing up after you, the photo at the top of this page looks like you had the Dyson out and vacummed the place and all :)
