Learning new knots tutorial - Part 3. Stevedore Knot
This is another form of a stopper knot. It is bigger in size than the overhand knots. This knot is traditionally used by dockworkers to stop the end of a rope from puling through an eye.
1. First we make a bend/loop in the rope.

2. We then twist the rope to put a twist in the loop. Do so by grabing the tip of the loop and twisting it 360o clockwise (Looking down on the loop end, not the two lose ends)

3. We then take our loose end and pass it underneath the rope leading to the loop.

4. Then push the ropes end through the loop. Go over the first part of the loop and under the second.

5. Work your knot tight and you now have a finished Stevedore Knot.
