Does anyone have a pair of these or tried them?
What did you think of them?

it depends what you want them for. I think a few of us were looking at them for the ben nevis trip when we heard that there may be ice on the ridge. As far as I know this type of thing was designed for ski lift attendants who may be standing around on icy ground but not really doing anything strenuous but don't want to fall over every time they move! So fine for walking around a slippery town but from the small amount of research I did def not a substitute for crampons.
