Buy the trangia you won't regret it I bought one 12 years ago and it's still going strong, and it's had some abuse over the years, cooked a great fry at the hares gap on Saturday on the way back from ben crom, hard to beat a trangia fry up!

On a budget?  Check out sites like ebay and Gumtree.  Here's a link I had been looking at about rucksacks:-

http://www.gumtree.com/cgi-bin/list_postings.pl?search_terms=berghaus+rucksacks&search_location=United+Kingdom&ubercat=1

Also get into TK Maxx they usualy have plenty of outdoor kit- including waterproofs.

Don't abandon the Trangia.  It's worth waiting for.

keeping an eye on ebay for trangia, few going for much cheaper than amazon, once you add postage.

If your tryig to get one cheap I'd have a look at the Swedish army surplus ones. You can pick them up for very little.
