Title: Howdy old chums!
Post by: twentyclicks on October 30, 2014
Hey folks! Haven't got posting (or even lurking) that much in the past year or so. Wanted to post a few things for sale and thought it rude not to stop for a natter  ;D

Glad to see there's still summit camps, adventures, lots of pertinent advice, and Lenny is still king of the castle!

I've been consumed with works, cyclocross, and all the training leading up to the UTMB. The mourne MTR was my 'retirement race' there, going to kick back with no big goals for a while. Have been camping in Scotland at Easter and in the Alps twice for the trail running, and you may well have seen me in the Mournes on any given Sunday trotting around. Bivvies this year have been limited to the Lagan Meadows on the summer solstice, and Cregagh Glen rath a few weeks ago. Sometimes you just gotta grab the sleeping bag and find some sky  ;D

Looks like I'm leaving these shores in Jan for a year, so I'll try to relay any outdoors updates.

Stay well, stay wild!

Crimes against style  ;D

Na, the misses has a contract in Indonesia for a year and I thought it would be rude not to join her!

I'm not sure if you're already away, hopefully I've caught you before you go.  I wish you a safe journey and hope you have some really cool adventures.  If you get a chance pop in and say high from time to time, please do.  Oh and pictures would be nice too. 8)

Got here safely and smoothly. Been settling in and adjusting to the heat and humidity.... if you're not out by 6:30 for your morning run you're screwed!! Also welcomed by the mosies with about 100 horrible bites. Either the food is infiltrating my blood or I'm getting better at killing them, but thankfully the number of new bites is reducing.

It's a cool place; busy, but not as manic as it looks at first.

Glad you got there safely.  With your experiences so far I maybe should add be selective with any photos you share  ;)
