Title: How do you add photos to post
Post by: 666_pack on June 04, 2009: Can someone explain this dark art to me ???.
Is it possible to import any picture from the web or do I have to upload my own.

Post by: admin on June 04, 2009: There are several ways to do it. If it is an image on another website you can right click the image, click properties and copy the address of the image, then when you are writing a post click the 'Insert Image' and paste the location in between the tags that appear. I will try and locate better instructions than this - I appreciate it could be a bit confusing.

Anyone can use the photo gallery to upload their own pictures. Click the 'photo gallery' link, click the 'misc images' folder, then click 'add an item to this album' and fill the form. You can also click 'User Albums', 'My Albums', 'Add User Album' to create an album of your own.

Hopefully I'll flesh these instructions out a bit later.

I use this mod for my site and my friends use it on their forum, it allows you to upload your pics from your pc or the net and is stored on an external site, thus freeing up your bandwidth.

whist on the subject of mods etc here is some code that adds an "ADD THIS" button to the site so people can add this site to the likes of myspace and face book etc

Post by: MG1 on July 07, 2009: Sorry guys been trying to insert a pic for the pub quiz for last 2 days but it doesn't seem to be working >:( Have done it before and not doing anything different. Any one else having the same problem?

Post by: Michelle on July 07, 2009: ok now i have worked out how to do it - is your picture on the NI -wild website or another web site?

If it is i just on your pc /lappy upload it to the ni wild gallery. when you see it in gallery on the web site right click on it to get the "properties" of the picture to open - copy the address in the wee box.

Next create your message- to add the picture to it look above the smilies- between the one laughing and the one winking there is a button with a (little) picture surrounded by a frame. Click this and some tags ([im g][/i mg]) will appear. Paste the address you copied in between the ] and [
et violá you have pictures!!
