Tripped over this. Talks about two caves just to the right as you are going up Bloody Bridge River. One is 'man made' which I can only presume is a sheep pen or similar but the other is natural.

Anyone know more about it?

I'ts only about 2 miles from Bloody Bridge, could be a night hike..or even a quick bivvy because it looks flat on the map

I've been trying to find out any info on mournes caves and haven't got too far. The kids are more willing to go for a walk when there's a cave or plane wreckage along the way. World class stunning views are just not enough for them!

(Kicking myself I left my head-tourch at home...so these two videos don't show off too much apart from document my 'old man grunts')

Write up soon.

Looks like another great spot. Did we not stand and look at these caves when we were coming down off Chimney Rock mountain during the summer?

Nope, these caves are over on the other side of the valley away from Chimney Rock and a mile away from the Bloody Bridge River.

I thought as we came down where the old railway track was we could see what appeared to be caves across the valley.

Nope #2, the quarry opposite Crannoge did come up in conversation as some of the fellas had to climb up to it in during a previous MMM.

These caves are a bit more elusive and not visible from a distance: took me two trips and six hours, before I finally cheated and dropped a GPS app on my phone to find them.
