thanks! I got the spot from ni-wild and all. not sure which post but it was from a few years back. It's not this post but here is that general area, with even some more wild camp spots

I'm starving now! We've done a few camps and slow cooked a leg of lamb over the fire. It's a great way to cook, only trouble is you're sent mad by the smell for hours before you actually get to eat it :D

Great seeing a coastal camp too, nothing more relaxing than the sound of the sea on the shore. Did you see many other people around? There aren't too many accessible coastal areas in Northern Ireland that don't see a lot of dog walkers in the mornings.

haha, yea that smell is great. had to make sure i didn't wonder to far or that coillie might have a munch! the next morning there was a couple of dog walkers but it was all relaxed. imma definitely goina try more coastal camps. it's a super relaxed way to experience the outdoors.

Definitely agree. We used to have the odd sneaky camp round Orlock Point which had stunning views over the Copeland Islands and Belfast Lough but you're not really supposed to camp there so we were always wary because once 9am came around there was a continuous stream of dog walkers.

i'd say Orlock Point is super busy compared to Sheepland Beg, I only saw 2 dog walkers and didn't leave till 3pm! just chilling at the camp site drinking tea. the wind was up thou so I hid in the tent a few times.
