never been on top of chimney rock before. i like it.

Looks like a good trip.  Did you come across the crash site of the B26 Marauder 41-18150 on the Southwestern side of Chimney Rock Mountain?  There are 4 (there could be more) that I know off in the Mournes from WW2, the others are 2 Wellingtons X3599 & X9820 (black stairs and Slieve Commedagh)  and a Mosquito NS996 (Slieve Commedagh).

Anyway the scooby doo type trail tracks looked good, easier going down than up.

i was planning on looking for it but was not 100% fit this trip so cut that bit out, planning on going back some time. thanks for the info on the other plane crashes, didn't know about them.

the scoobydoo tracks where fun for sure.

Good stuff, brilliant footage of the sun-set and especially the hounds longing look as dinner is cooking.

That's great info RT, something to look out for whilst wandering around.
