• Christmas Dinner and Camp: December 15, 2012 - December 16, 2012

I will be up around that time myself as I've to tramp round Castleward with a group of youngins until 4.

I'm having a few logistical timing issues. I have an unavoidable meeting with a fat man in a red suit in the afternoon and I'm going to guess it will be 7ish before I can get to camp. I might need to send the ham on ahead with someone else. What sort of time are we thinking of eating?

i dont mind what time we eat, happy to go with the flow!

Spud & myself have a few hip flasks & choice cuts of fine meats to keep us going,oh the hardship

Just wanted to stop by and wish you all a great time on the night.
Both myself and Summit will be working (offshore) over the Kithmith and new year period so wont be able to join you all.  I'll be freezin my ass off on an oil rig whereas he's on a cruise ship for 4 months in the carribean.  No justice I tell ya..

Pity.  Woulda been perfect opportunity to meet a lot of you.
Sounds like its going to be a good night - Hope you get the weather for it.

I think i am the official forum bootlegger so i'd be happy to oblige, an extra 5 kg isn't going to hurt  if the weight is a too much for me i'll find a stash for some of them and you can toodle down to get the rest later (i'll make a treasure map  ) hopefully i'll have my new 85 litre ruscksack by then, never could quite fit everything into my 70 litre one 

p.s. you are over 18?  this isn't some clever ruse to get drink 

turns out I can't go to this. same reason as wild camper, something has came up. hopefully you have not bought our alcohol yet, but if you have hold on to it and we will drink it next time and give you the money.

Aww shucks Spud, thanks very much for the intro!  My circumstances have now changed and I can now make it. 

Dowser has kindly  ;)agreed to let me bring the chipolatas, don't worry he still has 10 kilos of tatties still to bring.  I'll give Rumblebum a shout and top-up on the mulled wine also.  You'll not complain about having too much vin-chaud.
