I am really looking forward to this too! Myself and mourneman should be arriving around 1630-1700 all being well! We had discussed a smaller fire for cooking away from the main camp fire? surfnscenic said at the last camp he has some grills from an old barbecue that he could bring, just means we could heat the food more gently and would be better for keeping stuff warm etc?
Anyone any thoughts?

Yeap... sounds like a plan.  We have talked about this a few times but were just too lazy to put it into action!!!  :-[

If I'm up at 2:30ish, as I plan to be, I will try and make up another smaller fire pit close-by that we can set grills etc on.

Man, I can almost taste the Turkey already  :D

Im sure we can get something rigged up with a bit of teamwork!! Lets make this the best christmas feast EVER!!  ;D Im doing a "dry" run of the goose fat roasties during the week, I will post photos of the results!!  ;D

After spuds post I had a look. Page 10 MountainerIreland said he would do a bit of mincing action, so I'll do the crackers.

Sorry... I didn't see the post Mounteerireland put up about the mincing... I'll edit the list now and put you on the Crackers.  We'll be wanting to see them handed out Gangham Style. You better get rehearsing the routine  ;D

Might bring some gammon if i do with a few cooking methods.

I probably won't get much time this week to check back but if you pm me i should get an email, leave a mobile number if you gan help out.

Any free car spaces down from Belfast I'd appreciate a chance to cadge a lift.
If not, perhaps the Belfast bus crowd could co ordinate, get the same bus down for a bitta craic?
