stayed up beside annalong forest on friday night. really good weather, dry, sunny, NO MIDGES. kind of a sitting in the house on a day off and just thought, to nice a weekend, im away for a camp. back down early in the morning.
someone had left a lot of wood lying around, so thanks for that. I burned most of it.
There was a huge line of people that passed the tent, not sure what group it was.
FAR FAR BETTER THAN SUMMER CAMPING

Annalong Wood is a great spot, one of my favourites. It's where I camped when I was young.

It was a lazy walk from the carpark. carried heavy tent and winter bag. Not sure i will stay up again until next year, will still do the day walks, but am looking forward to a bit of snow.
