I sold my Canadian Canoe a few years back and I really miss paddling, after reading about Scribble's upcoming trip I want to get back in the game :)

Anyone selling a Canadian Canoe or know anyone else that is?

I'm not selling one or know where to get one, but if you are about to get a used one I would recommend to get one made out of Royalex. They discontinued the material and its by far the best there is for a canoe.

I'd love a royalex canoe but they're fairly pricey and hard to get in Northern Ireland. Have they discontinued royalex, I never heard anything about that?

Holy crap I just looked up prices in NI.

I forgot how expensive these are nowadays. Think the Royalex Penobscot 16 I'm using now was like 500 canadian dollars 20 years ago.
I'll ask around here a bit, loads of people in Hamburg have nice canoes they never use.

Royalex boats can be like hen's teeth, and yep, they certainly hold their price.

Heard Tollymore OE Centre are auctioning off their old fleet sometime in March.

Mostly Mad River canoes if I remember correctly - might be worth a look
