Sounds like a great trip. You have to take the rough with the smooth and the odd error is just part of the learning curve. So where did you find you had bivvyed in the morning? Also do you have any pics of the tarp?

Thanks for the (honest) write up. As RedLeader says, don't be to hard on yourself, getting off the mountain in one piece is way more important than thinks going 100% to plan. Also shows you that with a tarp and bivvy you can find any wee hole to set up camp in. Congratulations.

And also you seem to have been the only person to snap a pic of any of the iWAITers.

Big fella, if it was easy then everybody would be doing it.  As  Chuck said the main thing is you kept your head, remained safe and set up camp and enjoyed(?) what you had.

Thanks for the picture of us at Hares Gap.  I took a few but they're a bit S h one tea. Sorry.

Good write up.

Would you do it again?

It's as well you just decided to set up camp, it seems you were heading further away from Doan.  Cool adventure.

What was your kit list and menu?

Of the things you brought what would you not bring in similar circumstances?

Was there anything you didn't bring that you would the next time?
