Winter Causeway Coast Dander Invite
« on: October 16, 2011 »

The date for the "Winter Causeway Coast Dander Invite" mentioned earlier is firming up for the Saturday 19th November and will start in Balintoy around 9.00am and follow this route to the Anchor Bar in Portstewart http://www.walkjogrun.net/routes/current_route.cfm?rid=0E33C862-C81E-4988-A18F986DDBAE1CF1&success=1 the dander is around 21 miles and should with a bit of luck and a following wind we should finish between 6 and 7pm with drinkies in the Anchor and a bite to eat.

Should it get dark, cold and wet. we may finish at 17 miles in the Harbour Bar in Portrush, or at 12 miles in the Bayview in Portballintrae

Everyone welcome, but it would be useful to know numbers as this is a linear route and you may need taken back to your cars in Balintoy.
